Antifaux Commitment:

The AntiFaux 1.0 project aims to illuminate harsh realities about the current state of politics and society while serving as a voice for the voiceless. AntiFaux 1.0 offers fans of Underground Hip-Hop a combination of complex wordplay, sample-based production, live instrumentation, and blistering social commentary – which has been a crucial facet of the genre from its very inception.

AntiFaux advocates direct confrontation in response to the rising threat of global fascism. Critics of antifascism from the political right and center, who claim the ballot box is the best and only way to combat the threat, operate from a false premise. History shows electoral politics are not enough on their own to stop the scourge from spreading, as the Nazi party was voted into power in Weimar Germany. Their evil was ultimately contained only by bullets, tanks, and bombs – delivered to them by our grandfathers and their allies on the battlefields of North Africa and Eurasia. The invasion of Normandy (the largest amphibious military invasion in history) was an antifascist operation. AntiFaux believes in confronting the scourge of fascism directly and without compromise before it grows into something powerful enough that worldwide war is required to lay it to rest again.

Our style is brutal and unflinching. We tackle uncomfortable topics that have become hot-button issues over the past decade, siding with the oppressed masses in the fight for justice and equality for all people. We side with the philosopher Karl Popper, who said: “Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them.”

Through our music, we seek to expose, critique, and metaphorically punch fascism, plus its white supremacist variants, directly in the skull. These shots are returned, in self-defense, since the very existence of extreme right-wing ideologies threatens the existence of millions. They threw the first punch, meaning ours are thrown as counter-attacks.
